Suno capped downloads — Studio is the way around it
Since 3 September Suno caps how many songs you can download: 7 ever on Free, 20 a month on Pro, 60 a month on Premier. Exports from Suno Studio are not capped, and Studio comes with Premier.
Take it with you. The whole thing as a PDF — no sign-up, no email required.

On 3 September 2026 Suno started capping downloads. Before that, a Pro plan gave you credits and let you download everything you made.
- Free — up to 7 total lifetime trial downloads, personal and non-commercial only
- Pro ($8/month) — 20 downloads per month, with commercial use rights
- Premier ($24/month) — 60 downloads per month, with commercial use rights
The counts reset each month and unused downloads do not carry over. The cap is backdated: it applies to everything in your library, including songs made before 3 September. The songs stay playable and shareable either way — it is the download that is metered.
The way around it: Suno Studio
This is the part worth knowing. Suno's own FAQ says: "users will still be able to download their work from Studio without limitation."
Suno Studio is included with Premier — the plan page lists it as "Access to Suno Studio — now with MIDI, effects, automation, and design-your-own-plugins". So if you are already paying for Premier, the uncapped route is already yours.
- Open Studio in the left sidebar.
- Find the song under Or start from one of your songs and press Edit in Studio. Single-track uses the full mix and costs nothing; multi-track separates the stems and costs 50 credits.
- Press Export, top right.
Ordinary downloads from your library still count against the monthly number. It is the Studio export that is not metered.
Two things that do not cost you a download
- Re-downloading. A song you have already unlocked can be downloaded again, in any supported format, without using another allocation.
- Stems. All the stems of one song count as that song's single download — not one each.
If you have run out
Your account page shows Downloads Remaining next to your credits, and a Buy downloads button beside it. Suno does sell additional downloads once you hit the cap.
Try Studio first. On Premier it costs nothing and does the same job.
Questions people also ask
How many songs can I download from Suno?
Free accounts get up to 7 trial downloads in total, ever. Pro gets 20 a month. Premier gets 60 a month. The monthly counts reset with your billing period and do not roll over.
Is there a way to download more than the cap?
Yes. Suno's FAQ says users can download their work from Suno Studio without limitation. Studio is included with Premier, so exporting from Studio instead of the library avoids the cap.
Does the cap apply to songs I made before September?
Yes. The limits apply to everything in your library, including songs created before 3 September 2026.
Does re-downloading a song cost another download?
No. Downloading a song you have already unlocked again, in any format, does not count against your quota. All of a song's stems also count as that one song.
Can I buy more downloads?
Yes — once you hit your limit Suno lets you purchase additional downloads from the account page. Check whether a Studio export does the job first.

What Fynl.io is, and where it fits
Fynl.io is one portal a small business runs itself on, instead of five subscriptions that do not talk to each other.
The AI runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT API key. You keep the key, you pay the model provider directly, and there is no markup on top of it. There is no SMS or phone calling yet, and we would rather say so than let you find out later.
A rule change you only notice when the button stops working is the same shape as a client follow-up nobody chased. Fynl.io keeps the enquiry, the quote and the reminder in one place, running on your own Claude or ChatGPT API key.
