Why it holds together in every inbox

Email apps strip most of what web pages use. Gmail drops style sheets, Outlook on Windows draws email with Microsoft Word’s engine, and web fonts rarely load. So every signature here is built the old, reliable way: a layout table, inline styles on each element, fonts every computer already has, and plain links for your social profiles instead of icon images that can be blocked.

Getting your photo or logo to show

A signature picture has to live on the web. Use an image that is already on your website (right-click it and copy the image address), or upload it to any host that gives a direct https link to the file. Keep it small, around 200 pixels wide, so the email stays light. Some people’s email apps hide pictures until they choose to show them, so the signature still reads well without it.

What to put in a business signature

  • Your name and role, so people know who they’re talking to.
  • One phone number and your website. More than that becomes clutter.
  • Two or three social profiles you actually keep up to date.
  • One clear next step, such as booking a call or leaving a Google review.
Questions

Signature questions

Is this email signature generator free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit. Each signature ends with a small “Made with Fynl” link, which is how we keep it free.

Will it work in Gmail and Outlook?

Yes. The layout uses tables and inline styles only, with no style sheets and no web fonts, which is what Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail keep when you paste a signature.

Why doesn’t my photo show?

The picture must be a public https web address. Images from your computer, or links to a page rather than to the image file, can’t be shown. Some recipients also block pictures until they allow them.

Is there a size limit?

Gmail allows signatures up to 10,000 characters. The generator shows the size of yours and warns you if it gets close.

Can I edit it after I paste it?

Yes, small text changes are fine in your email app. For bigger changes, come back here: the page remembers your details on this device, so you only change what’s new and paste it again.

Do you keep my details?

No. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is sent to us. Your details are saved only on this device so they’re there next time.
